PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rainwater intake joint having the initial rainwater removing function and capable of collecting water with a higher degree of freedom while maintaining simplicity of water intake. SOLUTION: This rainwater intake joint is composed of a T-shaped joint fitted and connected between rainwater flowing-down vertical gutters, a water intake unit internally inserted from the horizontal pipe end of the T-shaped joint and a rainwater pipe derived outside the horizontal pipe end from the water intake unit. The rainwater pipe is rotatably arranged. A water intake member composed of a cover body penetrating the rainwater pipe is arranged. The cover body of the water intake member is laid and formed via a horizontal pipe.
