PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for manufacturing an optical disk, designed to achieve carrying of no mistakes when substrates after the formation of an optical disk are stacked and carried again one by one. SOLUTION: For stacking and stocking substrates after the formation of an optical disk, a mechanism for rotating each of the substrates stacked before a storage device is provided in a carrier path, or a mechanism for rotating the under-platform of the storage device, on which the substrates are stacked is provided. The stacking is carried out by shifting the direction of substrates to be stacked from that of the stacked substrates, and thus the inclination of an uppermost substrate is prevented.
