PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output images corresponding to all horizontal pixels within one horizontal scanning period, without having to increase power consumption by increasing the frequency of a horizontal transfer clock and without performing complicated scan conversion, in a processing circuit on the post-stage in the case of outputting video to the display device of NTSC standard or the like, while using a high pixel imaging device. SOLUTION: A horizontal transfer part has a at least the gate structure of three phases. At monitor mode, the duty ratio for transfer pulsesϕH1,ϕH2,ϕH3 andϕH4 to be impressed to gates H1, H2, H3 and H4 of respective phases in the horizontal transfer part is set to the reciprocal of the number of phases and phases are shifted for the reciprocal of the number of phases during one period each time.
