PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller capable of setting the power to substantially zero when not required by suppressing the power consumption at standby to a minimum and pursuing a rational power supplying method. SOLUTION: The motor controller comprises an ON/OFF switch 3 connected to a constant voltage power source 1 to cut off at a standard time; a means 7 for detecting a voltage signal; an essential control means 11 for controlling a motor; a latch means 9 set by an output of a filter of a filter means 8, and reset by a sum signal of an output of a reset generating means 10 and an output of the means 11; a switch 4 for turning ON/OFF a current supplied from the power source 1 via a protective resistance means 2 by an output of the latch means 9; and a signal line having diodes 5, 6 for supplying a voltage to the voltage detecting means, the filter means, the latch means, the reset generating means and the essential control means by calculating an OR operation of the outputs of the switches 3, 4. In this case, the components are integrated in one-chip integrated circuit.
