摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the vibration and noise while accelerating the warming up of an engine 1 right starting the direct injection type diesel engine 1 equipped with VGT 31. SOLUTION: When the engine 1 is in a substantially and sequentially idle driving state after cold starting, a pilot injection is implemented prior to the main injection of the fuel by an injector 5, the nozzle of the VGT 31 is fully closed till elapsing a set timeΔT1 (SA4), high temperature combustion gas is retained in a combustion chamber 4, and its temperature state is rapidly increased (SA5-SA8). When the temperature adjacent to the combustion chamber 4 becomes sufficiently high after elapsing the set timeΔT1, the nozzle of the VGT 31 is set into a fully opened state to reduce the exhaust resistance, while an intake throttle valve 26 is set into a fully closed state so that the vibration noise of engine 1 can be reduced, unburnt fuel in the exhaust is increased, and a catalyst converter 30 is warmed by its reaction heat (SA9-SA12).</p>
