PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk and an optical disk recording method capable of recording music and images (movies or the like for instance) without information omission by making time required for the change shorter than before. SOLUTION: For this optical disk, a management area is divided into plural areas and one or plural management areas for storing change information are provided between the innermost and outermost peripheries of the disk. Since an optical head is not required to move to the innermost and outermost peripheries at the time of the change as before, the time required for a change processing is shortened.
