摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanning apparatus for a living body specimen, capable of markedly shortening the light scanning time of a specimen chip to efficiently perform analyzing work. SOLUTION: The specimen chip, on which a large number of living body specimens are arranged, is scanned by light to specify living body specimens labelled with a fluorescent substance. The movable table, supported on a main body frame in a reciprocally movable manner, is rectilinearly moved by a numerically controllable moving member and a rotating member for rotating a turntable, on which living body specimens are set, while controlling the angle of rotation thereof, is provided to the movable table. The specimen chip is irradiated with a light, of which the wavelength corresponds to the fluorescence of the fluorescent substance from a light source and the light, is condensed by an object lens to become a prescribed spot diameter. The reflected light and fluorescence from the specimen chip are detected by a light detection member to output an electric signal. The specimen chip, rotated while moving rectilinearly is spirally scanned by the light to detect the living body specimens, to which the fluorescent substance is bonded.
