PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit device and a data transmission system which can securely detect an error when data is transmitted and can highly reliably transmit data. SOLUTION: A first storage means 9 inputting transmission data, a second storage means 10 inputting return data, a comparison means constituted of a comparison circuit 11 comparing the output results of the first and second storage means 9 and 10 and a transmission control part 7 transmitting a transmission control signal 3 to a transmission destination in accordance with the transmission of transmission data to the transmission destination and controlling return data from the transmission destination in accordance with the edge of the transmission control signal 3 are installed. The output of transmission data is continued until transmission data matches the return data.
