摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a temperature rise of a permanent magnet which is caused by the generation of fluctuating torque in a permanent magnet type rotating machine. SOLUTION: A spacer 8 is constituted of a plurality of conductive blocks 8a divided in the axial direction and insulating members 8b interposed between the blocks 8a, 8a. Non-conductive members 10 are interposed between the spacer 8 and permanent magnets 5, 5. Thereby an eddy current path is cut off by the insulating members 8b, and magnetic field fluctuation at spacer positions and eddy current loss due to the fluctuation are reduced, so that a temperature rise of the spacer 8 itself is reduced. As a result, a temperature rise of the permanent magnets 5, 5 is reduced. The non-conductive members 10 between a magnetic pole and the spacer 8 prevent magnetic short circuit of a magnetic path between different poles, and an output is increased.
