PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can form an image of high quality and is small-sized. SOLUTION: A blade main body of a cleaning blade which comes into sliding contact with a photoreceptor drum to scrape off residual toner is constituted of urethane rubber. Loss tangent of the urethane rubber is at its maximum between 5 deg.C and 55 deg.C being an use temperature range of the image forming device. Thereby since stick slip of the blade main body can be prevented even when line pressure applied from the blade main body to the photoreceptor drum is made to be smaller, load onto the a photoreceptor drum can be reduced by reducing frictional force generated between the blade main body and the photoreceptor drum while maintaining high image quality. Consequently miniaturization of a motor for rotating the photoreceptor drum can be attained.
