PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable which allows the easy assembly of an optical fiber sensor for detecting the deformation of a structure by the elongation distortion of an optical fiber when this optical fiber sensor is installed to the structure. SOLUTION: The optical fiber cable 4 used for the optical fiber sensor 2 for detecting the deformation of the structure 1 by light has the optical fiber 9 and a flexible joining material 8 which is disposed along the optical fiber 9 and is integrated. This joining material 8 has an adhesive surface 8a having adhesive strength.
