PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive not only FM radio broadcasting waves of satisfactory directional characteristics but also AM radio broadcasting waves of high receiving gain. SOLUTION: This on-glass antenna for vehicle is provided with at least an S-shaped element, composed of a first horizontal wire extended from a power feeding point provided at one corner part of side window glass for vehicle along with the upper side or lower side of a body flange, a first vertical wire extended from the top end of the first horizontal wire further to almost the central along with one longitudinal side, a second horizontal wire horizontally returned from the top end thereof and a third horizontal wire further extended along with the upper side or the lower side opposite to the first horizontal wire, while extending a second vertical wire from the top end of the second horizontal wire along with the other longitudinal side, plural horizontal elements are connected from the respective first and second vertical wires to the opposite longitudinal sides, the directional characteristics of FM bands are improved by the S-shaped element, and the reception gain of AM bands is improved by the plural horizontal elements.
