A compact disc is positioned on an intermediate plate preferably made of steel. An electromagnet is arranged above the compact disc. The contacting diameter of the area between the intermediate plate and the compact disc, is smaller than the diameter of the intermediate plate. An Independent claim is also included for compact disc transportation device.
