PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for altering a shape of a rubber-like elastic extruded article capable of molding an extruded article of different size and shape by changing the article to many types of sizes and shapes by one mouthpiece body having a discharge hole. SOLUTION: A discharge hole 2 of a rubber-like elastic material W partly having fixed size and shape is formed at the mouthpiece body 1. In this embodiment, the body 1 having the hole 2 for a bead filler used as a tire constituting material is indicated. A long groove-like guide groove 3 having the hole 2 along a longitudinal direction of the body 1 is formed in a front face opening of the hole 2 of the body 1. A plate-like shielding plate 5 having a discharge hole 4 for changing a hole and formed in a thickness of the degree to become substantially the same thickness as the thickness of the plate of the body 1 is slidably engaged with the groove 3, and contained and held in the groove 3 by a fixing plate 6 provided at a bottom side.
