PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a float for fishing food in visibility from the upper part of a water surface even when the float sinks in water and drifts therein and slightly applying the wariness to fishes in water. SOLUTION: This float 1 for fishing is characterized in that the float 1 for fishing comprises a float body 3 composed of an upper part 2 having light transmitting properties and a lower part 4 having a higher specific gravity than that of the upper part 2 and sinking below the water surface and a colored part 6 provided in the boundary part between the upper part 2 and the lower part 4 and visible through the upper part 2, and the lower part 4 is colored so that the colored part 6 is invisible throughout the lower part 4.
