COMBINATORIAL CATALYST REACTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel reactor for effecting a chemical reaction using catalysts. SOLUTION: The reactor has wells having open ends and closed ends. The reactor has sleeves having top ends and bottom ends. The bottom ends of the sleeves are inserted into the open ends of the wells. Fluid permeable members extend over the entire part of sections and are thereby mounted at the sleeves forming the chambers between the closed ends of the wells and the fluid permeable members. The reactor has also fluid permeable ends and reactor insertion sections having the top ends inclusive of first and second conduits. The fluid permeable ends of the reactor are inserted into the open ends of the sleeves. The first conduits connect the chambers described above and the fluid and the second fluid conduits connect the fluid permeable ends of the reactor insertion sections and the fluid.
