PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a rock wool board by which elasticity or restoring force thereof as a fiber assembly can be controlled to a desired value. SOLUTION: A suction surface is constructed so that the angle to horizontal surface thereof is variable in a producing apparatus for the rock wool board equipped with a high-speed rotor for making a dropped molten slag hover, a supplying means of a gas for pneumatically carrying the fibrous slag generated when hovering and a suction conveyer having the suction surface for sucking and accumulating the carried fibrous slag to make a plate.
