SOLUTION: This therapeutic or prophylactic agent of the nephritis or the nephropathy contains compounds represented by formula (1) [R1 is a phenyl group, a cycloalkyl group or an aromatic heterocycle group; R2 is a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy group, an alkoxy group, a phenoxy group, a benzyloxy group or the like; n is an integer of 0-6; R3 is a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy group, a carboxy group, an alkoxy group, a phenoxy group, a benzyloxy group or the like; with the proviso that these groups may be substituted or a salt thereof as an active ingredient.
