PURPOSE: Filter media of an air purifier for automobile engine and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to maintain high dust-collecting efficiency and lower pressure drop. CONSTITUTION: The method is characterized by adhering Meltblown having a diameter of 1-5micrometer and a weight of 10-30g/m2 to nonwoven fabric having a weight of 50-120g/m2 with a resin adhesive, by using mixed synthetic fibers of Viscos rayon 0.8-3.0d and polyester 1.0-6.0d. The adhered fiber material has a total weight of 70-150g/m2 and a thickness of 0.5-1.5mm.
