PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can more heighten player's interest in a variable display until the stop mode of a special symbol is displayed by making the variable display of a special pattern to have a relation to a direction display. SOLUTION: This game machine is equipped with a display means 3a, which executes displaying a special symbol to show the movement of a game to a special game condition when the variable display stepped at a prescribed stop mode and displaying direction relating to a game by plural character symbols or other symbols, and a control means to judge whether or not a game is to move to a special game condition and controls the display means based on the judgement. The control means controls the display means so that the display variable-displays a special symbol so as to come closer to a prescribed stop mode when a specific character symbol 52 among character symbols is displayed in a more advantageous condition compared to other characters 53 and so as to go away from the prescribed stop mode when the specific character symbol 52 is displayed in a more disavantageous condition compared to other characters 53. |
