PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiotherapy device which is of smaller size and is of less complex structure than a conventional one having a working footing for maintenance of it and access to a patient. SOLUTION: Surrounding wall portions 9a, 9b, 9c, and 9d fixed to a rotary gantry cylinder 1 so as to surround a treatment table 4 are placed inside the rotary gantry cylinder 1 and a rotary gantry which causes either of the surrounding wall portions 9a to 9d to function as a working footing 10 at a position at which the rotary gantry cylinder 1 is rotated in a 0, 90, 180, or 270-degree is placed.
