PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for processing a remote shell in a mobile switching center is provided to save the trouble of using a plurality of monitor terminals to monitor a plurality of processors at the same time. CONSTITUTION: The mobile switching center(10), connected with one monitor terminal(M0), instead of a plurality of monitors, receives message commands from remote shell processors or target processors(P1-P2) and creates a remote shell message. If a self processor(P0) selected to process shell commands among a plurality of processors(P0-P2) receives remote shell commands, the self processor(P0) enters into a remote shell mode and creates an RSH(Remote SHell). The RSH requests target processors(P1-P2) to execute commands using a given inter-processor protocol. The shells of the target processors(P1-Pn) analyze and process received commands by the inter-processor protocol and transmit the contents to be displayed on the screen of the monitor(M0) to the RSH. The RSH receives the contents and displays the received contents on the screen of the monitor(M0). |
