PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape capable of readily carrying out a water-repellent treatment on the surface of a member, especially the surface of the member such as the inner periphery surface of a small diameter member. SOLUTION: This tape 20 for carrying out a water-repellent treatment has a substrate layer 21 composed of a polypropylene, and a water-repellent layer laminated on the substrate layer 21 and composed of a silicone resin or a fluororesin. One of the surface of the substrate 21 is subjected to a discharging treatment by a corona discharging treatment so that the surface 21a thereof may have an electric polarity, and the water-repellent layer is laminated on the surface.
