The invention concerns a method for protecting a container (1) against impacts, said container having a body (2) that ends on one side with a bottom and on the other side with a transition portion (4) terminated by a neck (3), the method comprising the steps of: - installing, on the container, a lower cup (5) that covers the bottom of the container and projects laterally from the body of the container; - installing, on the container, an upper cup (6; 60) that bears against the transition portion of the container and projects laterally from the body of the container; - covering the assembly using a sleeve (20) made from a heat-shrinkable material and heat-shrinking the sleeve. |
