RELEASANT COATER FOR YANKEE DRYER ROLL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject coater capable of improving the releasability between the surface of a Yankee dryer roll and the paper thereon and conducting a safer operation through setting up a plurality of wide-angle spray nozzles slidable back and forth. SOLUTION: This coater is intended to make a releasant spray coating on the surface of a Yankee dryer roll where a web is imparted with dryability/ smoothness and then released off; wherein a plurality of wide-angle spray nozzles slidable back and forth are mounted on a stationary platform set up in the cross direction in the vicinity of the Yankee dryer roll, and it is preferable that these nozzles are equipped with means capable of regulating releasant spray levels, respectively.
