摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for controlling the injection of ozone, making it possible not only to suppress the formation of bromic acid in ozone treatment and but also to sufficiently reduce trihalomethane forming capacity by solving such a problem that disinfection byproducts due to the reaction of ozone and organic matter, especially, trihalomethane and bromic acid (ions) are formed in the present water cleaning treatment field and it is necessary to suppress the formation of bromic acid because bromic acid can not be removed even by biological activated carbon and is not almost reacted with chlorine. SOLUTION: In measuring experiments due to water to be treated, a dissolved ozone concentration range capable of reducing trihalomethane forming capacity and forming no bromic acid ions is found out and the qualitative change of organic matter in an ozone contact tank and a reaction tank is monitored by an apparatus for measuring the concentration of hydrophilic organic matter in water to be treated and the injection amount of ozone is controlled within the dissolved ozone concentration range.
