PURPOSE: A banner advertisement service method is provided to display summarized data on a web site, corresponding to a banner advertisement, over an expanded window in the case that a user puts a mouse cursor on an area of the banner advertisement so that the user can check the web site linked from the banner advertisement without directly visiting the web site. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a user accessing a banner advertisement service site, the service site displaying a plurality of banner advertisements on a screen of a user computer(S10), the service site checking if a mouse cursor is put within an area of the banner advertisement(S20), the service site displaying an expanded window with summarized data on a web site linked from the banner advertisement(S30), the service site checking if the user clicks on the banner advertisement(S40), the service site making the user terminal move to a web site of an advertiser server linked from the expanded window(S50), and the service site closing the expanded window if the mouse cursor is put out of the banner advertisement and returning to the cursor sensing step(S60).
