PURPOSE: A method and system for operating a duty-free article shopping mall through a computer network and a recording medium storing program source thereof are provided to enlarge a market of tax-free articles and to offer a convenience to a user by providing tax-free articles related information of each country to a foreign traveller or a general person and selling and delivering a tax-free article to only a certified traveller through a computer network. CONSTITUTION: Tax-free articles related information and all sorts of service information being supported from a plurality of duty-free shops according to countries are guided to client terminals being connected through a network, and tax-free articles related information requested by a user or service information are decided(S20¯S23). Input of necessary user information is requested in accordance with the decided kind, and the inputted user information is verified and confirmed(S24¯S27). The user is verified and confirmed as a normal user, the requested tax-free articles related information or service information is provided(S28¯S30).
