1,112,516. Pedal cycles. MAGNEET RIJWIELEN-EN MOTORENFABRIEK N.V. 27 Jan., 1967 [2 Feb., 1966], No. 4149/67. Heading B7E. Separate handle bars 1 are clamped in fork tubes 2 by a spring pressed bolt 9 which seats on a flanged bracket 12 fixed across the tubes and may be raised by a cam 13 and operating handle 20 to move clamping fingers 5 outwardly so that their curved ends 14 which extend through the tubes 2 push directly against the bars 1, see also Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown). A channel member 4 co-operates with a bar 4<SP>1</SP> to prevent rotation of the bars 1 and a slidable spring 23 prevents the parts 4, 4<SP>1</SP> from separating. In Figs. 5, 6 a rectangular sectioned saddle post 23 roughened at 29 is clamped in the frame tube 25 by an eccentric 28 and lever 27 biased by a spring 30 to the operative position. |
