METHOD FOR BUFFERING CELL OF ASYNCHRONOUS TRANSFER MODE

PURPOSE: A method for buffering a cell of an ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) is provided to perform effectively the specific cell processing and remove an error in the length of input cell data effectively by designating the write point of the cell with a DPRAM(Dual Port Random Access Memory). CONSTITUTION: A read operation of a DPRAM(14) is generated every read clock. When a read operation is started by a cell read control unit(16), the data is read from a low address region to a high address region. A cell is written in the low address region and the high address region, respectively. Basically, a distant region from a read point is determined as a write point of a cell write control unit(10).
