PURPOSE: To make a voltage controlled oscillation reduced in the number of parts by eliminating the possibility of causing an abnormal oscillation phenomenon and small in size. CONSTITUTION: This oscillator is provided with an oscillation transistor in which a collector is grounded in a high frequency manner and a resonance circuit 5 connected between the base and the ground of the transistor 1. A Clapp capacitor 5a, a varactor diode 5b and an inductance element 5c are provided in the resonance circuit 5, the anode of the 5b is grounded, and the cathode thereof is connected to the base of the transistor 1 through the capacitor 5a. One end of the element 5c is connected to the cathode of the diode 5b, the other end thereof is grounded in a frequency manner.
