PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cut-off performance of contacts by controlling removal of arc-resisting component particles from the surface of the contact. SOLUTION: The material of a movabing side contact 13a and a fixed side contact 13b has a conductive component having at least either one of Cu and Ag as the main component and an arc-resisting component made of at least one of Cr, W, Nb, Ta, Ti and Mo and their carbides. The boundary surface of the arc-resisting component and the conductive component is uneven, and the range of the unevenness is 3-20% of the particle diameter of the arc-resisting component.
