PURPOSE: A device for automatically returning a trunk key hole cover is provided to maintain appearance of a travelling vehicle by automatically returning the trunk key hole cover. CONSTITUTION: An automatic returning device of a trunk key hole cover comprises a key hole base(11) fixed on a trunk lid; a trunk key hole cover(21) rotationally combined to the key hole base; a locking/unlocking unit locking or unlocking the trunk key hole cover by a starting signal of an ignition switch; an elastic member(22) applying force to close the trunk key hole cover; an on/off switch(23) isolating power of the locking/unlocking unit by closing the trunk key hole cover; a retainer body(31) installed on the key hole base; a retainer bar(32) movably arranged on the retainer body; a return spring elastically supporting the retainer bar; a magnet coil fixed in the retainer body to cover the retainer bar; and a retainer bar fixing unit(35) formed on the trunk key hole cover.
