PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrodynamic torque transmission device provided with a damper of a lockup device on which sufficient space for the damper in a axial direction is secured. SOLUTION: A torque converter 1 is provided with a lockup device 8. The lockup device 8 is arranged between a front cover 4 and a turbine 6. The lockup device 8 is provided with a clutch mechanism 31 for mechanically connecting the front cover 4 and the turbine 6 and a damper mechanism 32 for absorbing and damping the twisting vibration. The turbine 6 is provided with a linear part 62 corresponding to the damper mechanism around the outlet. As a result, a torsion spring 52 can be enlarged in an axial direction. |
