PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the grounding structure of a rotating encoder which is high in reliability and capable of size reduction. SOLUTION: The grounding patterns of both of the printed board 7a loaded with circuit pars of an encoder circuit part 7 and an FG processing board 12 performing frame ground(FG) processing are connected electrically mutually by a rigid jumper wire 13 and the grounding pattern of the FG processing board 12 grounded to a motor bracket using a conductive rivet 11.
