PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide changes in the rotation detection signal of an optical gyroscope, even if temperature drift or disturbance and changes with the lapse of time are generated. SOLUTION: First and second optical gyroscopes J1, J2 are provided on both sides of an insulating plate 360. A signal, where a temperature drift component is superposed on an actual angular velocity component, is obtained in the outputs from the optical gyroscopes J1, J2. Here, since the optical gyroscope J2 is provided on the rear surface side with respect to the optical gyroscope J1, the output signal to angular velocity appears as reversed in polarity. Only the temperature drift component is extracted by calculation (J1+J2)/2. When calculation of (J1-J2)/2 is performed, the temperature drift component is erased and only the angular velocity is extracted.
