<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save the energy by decreasing the fixing temperature compared to a conventional toner, to obtain good storage property compared to a toner which uses a conventional low melting point resin, to prevent changes in the interaction with an external additive with time, to prevent toner spent, filming, sticking, to obtain good storage property of a printed material, to obtain good pulverizing property, and to decrease contamination in the base compared to a toner which uses a conventional resin. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic toner features that its main binder contains an ethyl cyclic oligosaccharide which is a cyclic oligosaccharide having D-glucose as the structural unit and which hasα-(1→4) bond form with the alcoholic hydroxyl group of the D-glucose as the structural unit converted into an ethylether group.</p> |
