PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resource managing device for allowing computers under the control of a resource managing device itself to simultaneously use a revised resource to be used by those computers according to automation constitution when the computers are constituted of the mixture of different kinds of devices. SOLUTION: When each computer under the control of this recourse managing device itself is constituted of the mixture of different kinds of devices, the edition number information of a resource to be used by those computers to be designated according to the combination of the kinds of devices is obtained, and notified to each computer, and when it is confirmed that the desired resource is down-loaded to each computer in response to the notification, end batch switching to the down-loaded resource is instructed so that the switching to the resource can be executed. Thus, each computer can simultaneously use the revised resource prepared for each kind of device for guaranteing the matching of the whole system without depending on the manual work of a maintenance staff without any error.
