PURPOSE: A method and a device for upgrading new music in a video music accompaniment device, and a method for supporting a new music upgrade in a management system are provided to easily perform a new music upgrade in real time, and to decrease the cost by receiving a new music upgrade service after performing a subscription certification process by the management system through a communication network. CONSTITUTION: In a new music upgrade mode, a subscriber ID and the information for a new music upgrade of a video music accompaniment device are transmitted to a management system(302). At this time, the information for a new music upgrade includes the latest upgrade time and date, and a serial number of the video music accompaniment device. The management system prevents an illegal upgrade by confirming the subscriber ID and the information for the new music upgrade(304). The management system decides whether the subscriber is registered through the subscriber ID and the information for the new music upgrade or not(306). If the subscriber is registered, it is confirmed whether there is a necessity of the new upgrade(310). If there is a new music data registered at a new music database after the latest upgrade time and date, the management system transmits the new music data to the video music accompaniment device(312), and the video music accompaniment device stores the new music data at a new music data memory(314).
