<p>Locking furniture for securing, from the inside of an entrance region of a room, e.g. a door to a hotel room, said entrance region against opening from the outside. The locking furniture is of a type which is anchored in the striking plate between the entrance region and a case of the entrance region when the entrance region is closed and which thus blocks the entrance region against opening in that a hold is in abutment on the inside of the entrance region. The novelty according to the invention is that the locking furniture is provided with an alarm which is actuated if attempts are made to break open the entrance region in spite of the locking furniture. Furthermore, the locking furniture is preferably provided with a control light indicating whether the alarm is switched on and which may also be used in the dark to locate the entrance region.</p> |
