The device for controlling braking force in a car comprises an input and output pistons (2, 3) and a control valve (4) in a housing (5). A conical pressure piston (30) is mounted on the housing or input piston near a reaction piston (24). The reaction piston is mounted in a cup-shaped mounting (10). A support (11) for the reaction piston on the input piston side has a recess (17) into which part of the piston is forced under high pressure, so as to reduce braking force produced by the input piston or increase the pressure on the output piston.
