Wall plug comprises an outer slit tube of relatively hard plastics material, esp. polyamide or reinforced polyamide, and an inner lining slit sleeve of a softer plastics material, pref. polyethylene or polypropylene or of a polyurethane elastomer. The inner sleeve contains the tapering bore for receiving the screw.
