The exhalation valve, controlled by ambient pressure, has a body (8) with two chambers (1,2) in succession, separated by a flow body (7), with a round circumference and a number of small openings (3). Two larger openings (4,5) are at the end sides, as connections. The unit is surrounded by a flexible and preferably tubular rubber membrane (6), covering the peripheral openings (3), in a sealed fit at the outer edges of the body (8). The membrane (6) is subjected to the external water pressure and the internal valve pressure.
