A fuel cell system (7) includes a fuel cell stack (8), an enclosure (11) housing the fuel cell stack (18) and a blower (20). The blower (20) is located inside the enclosure (11) and is adapted to draw air from inside the enclosure (11) to produce an air flow through the fuel cell stack (8) and establish a negative pressure inside the enclosure (11) with respect to a region (9) outside of the enclosure (11).
