The invention relates to a hydraulic lift translation system, especially for an injection nozzle of a fuel injection system, comprising a base body (10), an input plunger (24), a coupling space (38), which is filled with a hydraulic fluid, and comprising an output plunger (14). The aim of the invention is to ensure a reliable ventilation of the coupling space and to ensure a loss-free conversion of a movement of the input plunger into a movement of the output plunger. To these ends, an intermediate plunger (20) is provided that can be displaced between an inoperative position, in which the coupling space is opened to the exterior via a ventilation opening (40), and an operative position, in which the ventilation opening and thus the coupling space are closed.
