The vertically movable base part (5) is inserted into the mold (2) and passes through a cavity (8) in a wiper-plate (9) the upper side of which acts as support for the mold. The wiper plate is supported on, or forms, a shaker-sieve (11). The wiper plate forms the upper side of a casing (10) in which the base part(s) is /are vertically movably mounted. The casing and base part are removable horizontally from the mold.
