<p>The method involves removing insulation transversely to the longitudinal direction as far as the conductor and depending on a signal for detecting a conductor. Stripping is started at the longitudinal edge of the conductor and complete stripping is only finished when the conductor is detected. A signal passes from a source via the stripper (7,9,11) and conductor to a receiver. Independent claims are also included for the following: an arrangement for de-insulating flat cable.</p> |
