<p>An optical information recording medium recordable at a high density two times higher than that of currently-used CD-Rs by using an organic dye having optimum optical characteristics as a material of a recording layer. The optical information recording medium comprises a recording layer on a translucent substrate where a spiral pregroove is formed. The track pitch Tp of the pregroove is in the range of 1.0 νm ≤ Tp ≤ 1.2νm. The optical phase difference ?S is in the range of 0.15 ≤ΔS ≤ 0.55.</p> |
