PURPOSE: A screen structure of a color cathode ray tube is provided to increase luminance by forming the metal reflection film formed on the screen doubly to reflect electronic beams reflected from phosphors effectively. CONSTITUTION: The inner surface of panel(114) is coated with a light absorption material layer and a phosphor layer(302). The metal reflection film is formed on the phosphor layer(302). The metal reflection film is composed of a white metal reflection film(304) and a black metal reflection film(305) doubly. Between the phosphor layer(302) and the metal reflection film, a resin film(303) is formed. The white and black metal reflection films(304,305) are formed on the resin film(303) sequentially using a vacuum evaporation method.
