<p>The present invention relates to a process for the crystallization of carboxylic acid, more particularly adipic acid, and a process for manufacturing crystalline carboxylic acid, more specifically a process for treating the reaction medium resulting from the direct oxidation of a hydrocarbon into carboxylic acid such as adipic acid, for example. More specifically, the invention relates to the crystallization of adipic acid from an organic solvent, thus removing the organic impurities contained in the said acid and thus optionally facilitating its purification by a crystallization from water.</p> |
